Super Paper Friday!

I declare today to be Friday!

New setup: Using boring old EndNote, filtering the feeds in Google reader, and then copy and pasting the PMIDs. Use EndNote to remove the duplicates and download the PDFs. The PDF download in EndNote is okay-ish - only missed 36 out of 188 items. And no, no idea why each citation has [pii] at the end (probably interpreting the new line character weirdly).

Oh, and here's the EndNote library file. Thanks Remy for the suggestion! Post a quick comment to let me know if it works.

I personally would find a shorter list with some annotation (even if very brief) much more useful. I don't think anyone is going to read 200 papers in a single week. Even skimming 200 abstracts sounds a little overwhelming, frankly. But I think a top-10-of-the-spf would be pretty great. I don't want to tell you how to run your site, but that's my suggestion.

Thanks Brandon,
The ENL file worked fine, and makes it much easier to browse through the papers :)

the link for L. A. Anatomical Changes in Human Motor Cortex and Motor Pathways following Complete Thoracic Spinal Cord Injury. Cereb Cortex reads: "The page you requested was not found

If you typed in the URL, please make sure you entered it correctly."

Here a link for that broken one:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18483004?ordinalpos=12&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_DefaultReportPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum

In the future, the easiest way to remedy this would be to just copy the first 5-8 words of the article title in pubmed and it should appear on the first page of results. If that doesn't work, try Google scholar, or of course the actual journal site.

I'll try to make sure this doesn't become a more regular problem on my end.

Oh, and glad to hear that ENL file works, Remy! I'll post those from now on in addition to the list.
